OSTRICH PLUMES

Ostrich plumes are our most popular type of plume. These stunning feathers are available in Black and White and any colour you require.

We keep black and white in stock at all times and colours are ordered on request unless we have them in stock already.

The feathers attach to a metal base that can be supplied in White Metal or Brass. The base then screws into a Buckle on Attachment which simply attaches to your bridle headpiece.

These are also available in White Metal or Brass.

We supply two sizes of Ostrich Plumes. 6 Piece and 3 Piece.

6 Piece are fuller and more extravagant.

Delivery

Plume heights are limited to 60cm due to post office regulations. The delivery charge is around £8.00 and will have to be signed for. If you would like them taller, the delivery charges will be approx £15.00 on a next day service.

HACKLE

Hackle plumes are very smart and another popular plume. They consist of individual feathers woven around an aluminium post. They are shorter than the Ostrich plumes but a lot thicker and attach the same way. Some people prefer them for the more solid look.

We can supply them in black and white without delay as we keep them in stock. We can supply them in a number of different colours but the wait can be 2 – 3 weeks.

They are roughly 17" in height. Delivery charge is around £6.00 and will have to be signed for.

PRINCE OF WALES

These fantastic plumes are for the most special occasions. They require the tail feathers of an Ostrich therefore the feather is plentiful and very pleasing to the eye. These are very large plumes and are quite curly.

They attach exactly the same way as the other plumes.

They are available in Black and White on a faster turnaround but will require a few more days if you would like them in colour. We order them on request so they will take approx a week.

Delivery

These plumes are rather tall and it would spoil the look if we were to cut them down so they are only available on a courier with the delivery charge of £15.00 next day service.
